Nourishing India, Empowering Farmers
One Shrimp at a Time.
At Shrimpbite, our mission is to make shrimp a staple in every Indian kitchen while enhancing the livelihoods of our aquaculture farmers. As one of the world’s leading shrimp exporters, India still faces low domestic consumption. Through targeted awareness campaigns, nutritional education, and a technology-driven supply chain, we aim to address this gap by making shrimp more accessible, affordable, and widely recognized. Join us in supporting Indian farmers and offering a healthy, protein-rich option to consumers across the nation.
About Us
Shrimpbite serves as the go-to-market distribution brand for our company, while AASFP is a marketing communications organization established to raise nutritional awareness about shrimp and seafood by-products in India.
As the third-largest shrimp producer and second-largest exporter globally, India exports over 95% of its shrimp to international markets. This heavy reliance on exports underscores the need to balance the income and livelihood of Indian shrimp farmers by increasing domestic consumption.

Why Indian Consumers ?
India, being the world's most populous country, is experiencing an increasing demand for protein-rich foods. However, there are limited options available for consumers in terms of high-protein, nutritious food products.
Our goal is to generate demand and raise nutritional awareness among the younger generation and new consumers regarding the benefits of shrimp protein, ensuring its availability to every corner of India.
We also aim to create new employment opportunities by providing healthy food options for Indian consumers, developing an enhanced supply chain model through digital technology in both rural and urban areas.
